About Merach Rowing Machine

Merach Rowing Machine is a cool-looking exercise tool. It’s shiny and chrome, with a bit of woodgrain style on the flywheel housing.

It’s not too big either, measuring 65 inches long, 17 inches wide, and 25 inches tall. The slim width means you can fit it into narrow spots, but make sure to leave some extra space for when you’re using it, especially if you’re tall.

    This machine is quiet! Simple assembly. Appears to be well built. An advanced athlete will want more resistance, but this will provide more than enough for the average person. Nice price point, too!

    This is a really nice rower. It was easy to assemble and fit perfectly in my little apartment gym. My only issue on the assembly was that there was no mention of what to do with the metal piece that goes behind the foot pedals, I had to look at one of the other pictures to figure out where it goes. Other than that, it's a good cardio workout and you get to follow along with the app to do workouts. Happy Rowing !!

    This is a great tower at a great price. I paid $199 +s&h. Very simple to out together, took maybe 15 minutes. I'm 5'9 and there is plenty of light room with plenty to spare. I don't know how this compares to other at the same price point, is guess they are the same. I picked this over others bc it has a phone holder and delivery had the shortest time. It also has one of the smaller footprints when storing it. Don't get your hopes up with the app, I didn't even bother downloading it. It requires a membership fee and if you didn't buy the smart version of the rower it's a waste of your time. The rower feels smooth when using it and seems decent quality, time will tell.

    The foot pedals are terrible and the Merach app is far less than subpar but at least it's free. It squeaks at the midway point when using it, but if you put a solid item under it just where the seat reaches its stopping point, the squeak goes away. Otherwise, this machine is awesome! I'm very happy with the purchase and the renewed desire to push myself daily. We used a treadmill for the last few years and this is a breath of fresh air. I would recommend this to anyone. My knees are bad and this is very low impact on them, yet my legs get an excellent burn. It was very easy to set up, I did it with the help of a 5 and 2 yr old and was done in 15-20 minutes. (It may have gone quicker but they liked to help twist the bolts in at their own pace) It is very quiet once the squeaking issue is resolved as well, you can have people in the same room a few feet away and they probably wont even notice any noise. I am very happy with this rowing machine.

    Used this for over a year now. No complaints whatever. I gave away my $1000 Concept 2 when the monitorquit. Repair parts alone was $140. The Concept is also 8 ft. long. For less than $200 this rower is great. Compact, easy to move around , but above all, it is completely silent. Searched numerous brands and now i am totally pleased with this Merach.

    I been looking for a rower for sometime. The ideal rower for me needed to be put away while not in use, be able to be used by the family without issues, have some of the key trackers so we all can track the progress, and have a comfortable stride. I'm not a professional rower, nor an athlete, just trying to get active in something I enjoy. I selected the unit because it was water resistance and make a water noice when rowing that I find confortable. It is not a loud noice and can be contained to the room you are rowing in. It allows for extra resistance in addition to the water and, as in any other rower, is harder as you accelerate your Rowe. I would have preferred a fix plate for the feet as other rowers with the flexible straps. It's ok, but feels less natural. The app that merach provides have some interesting workouts to do, but I use Apple I fitness. I have so far enjoy the equipment and hope this is for the long road. Only been one week, so will need to update as time goes.

    Great machine, it's changed my workout routine. I had to watch a few technique rowing videos, which helped me out quite a bit. I haven't had any issues, and set up was quick. Make sure you have everything ready before you hit your workout. Good music playlist and your Fitbit ready to go. Happy beginner rower.

    The machine is awesome and gives a great workout for the entire body, but the seat needs a better cushion. I've had it since Christmas but only opened in February. I have used it 6 days a week, sometimes 7 as I write this review (3/8/24). My workout is usually 30 minutes, but after 15 minutes of using it, I seem to have some sciatica nerve pain. I would recommend a thicker seat cushion.

    Had a $1000 water rowing machine a few years ago & liked it but it was noisy due to the water swishing around in the water tank with every row. It was supposed to simulate the sound of rowing on a lake but sounded more like a toilet flushing. Moved on from that machine to other workout routines but missed rowing as it works 90% of one's muscles with minimal joint impact, so I decided to look for another rowing machine & thankfully I found this one. It's whisper quiet & the seat glides back & forth as smooth as silk. It came with a seat pad for extra cushion but I don't use it as the seat is more than comfortable. The 16 adjustments are more than enough for me as I'm in my 60s & just looking to maintain a level of overall fitness & muscle tone (which is very important as one ages). I'm 5'6” and this machine accommodates my height with plenty of room to spare. As for the 16 levels of tension adjustments… 1 thru 8 are great for cardio training, & 9 thru 16 for cardio plus engaging the mus...More

I'm sure the tools included would work just fine but I have ratcheting wrenches & T-handle hex wrenches that sped up the process a bit). The machine is easy to stand up if I want it out of the way & easy enough to move on its front wheels should I want to move it to a different area of my home. I am very satisfied with the quality, design, & function of this rower & highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good workout at an affordable price. 🙂

    I enjoy this rowing machine. For the first month or so it was very quiet. It is supper smooth and resistance levels are perfect. However, the seat makes a creaking noise after rowing for a few minutes.I have tried tightening the bolts but that has not worked. It does not affect the rowing experience but it is super annoying.

    I purchased it for some early morning workouts and am I impressed. The machine is so quiet that I'm able to work out early in the morning without waking anybody up. The machine was easy to assemble took me around 20 minutes tops to put it together. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a rowing machine.

    Absolutely in love with this rowing machine. It was easy to put together took less than a half hour. It's completely silent which makes it possible to work out at any time of the day without disturbing anyone. I love that I can use it while my husband and I watch a movie without it making any noise at all. The tension builds within the magnetic engineering while you are using it due to the friction created within it. It's an amazing design. It's slimline design and weight makes it easy to tuck into any corner of a room without taking up space or being an “eyesore”- you truly don't even notice it's in a room at all. It glides smoothly and is very comfortable to use. Overall I just cannot say enough great things about this rowing machine. I am extremely impressed and happy with my purchase. All I can say.. is if you want a great rowing machine search no further- buy this one!!!

    This was easy to put together and I was worried about the resistance not being enough after reading other reviews, but it's perfect for me getting back into the rower! The footprint is nice and small, and it's incredibly quiet! I'll try to update this in a few months after using it more.
