    I've tried about 10 different brands of lidocaine patches, and this is by far the best at staying on and not coming off. Why do so many lidocaine patches have such terrible adhesive?!?!??! This is the only brand I'll buy now.

    they're cloth so they're much better than the stiff sticky plastic ones like "re-lieved" for small areas like thumbs--theracare come in a square sheet that needs to be kept moist, so if you need only part of the sheet cut the piece off but put the rest of the sheet back in its foil pouch and try to seal it

    Ive tried several pain patches for my upper forearm, and this one with the 4% lidocaine and 1% menthol is great! for the money! I think all pain patches are expensive so im not really singling out one in particular that is cheaper. sometimes you do get what you pay for! Ive had good luck with these so for a couple months now. I have a damaged nerve in arm from flu shot, so the pain is very intense at night, and so far i put one of these patches on, the menthol starts, lasts about 15 mins, then the lidocaine kicks in! that's how it's supposed to work!! so yeah, hope this helps!! My pain tolerance is 0!!!! lol

    I have been using the large 4% Lidocaine patches for over 2 years due to chronic nerve pain that extends from knee into lower leg. I experience this discomfort mostly at night, which wakes me up. So, before going to bed, I adhere a "stretched out" patch below knee and half way down my leg. To keep patch from coming off or rolling up, I apply 2 pieces of 3 inch paper tape one on each end of patch. I also cover area with a cloth wrap that provides protection and increases absorption of lidocaine into areas. It takes about 30 minutes to work, if applied when pain starts. Also I read complaints about cutting into package and cutting thru the enclosed patch. I cut along length of patching instead of across marked area on top to avoid this problem.

    I've been using these for 2 weeks and I have had less shoulder pain. I read complaints about the patch getting stuck to itself. I put it back on the film to straighten it back out. It is very cold when I first put it on, but only for a second. I don't really feel much warmth from it but I'm just looking for pain relief. I don't expect this to completely stop the pain, just help make it more bearable. And I cut it in half to save a little money.

    I like the size of these pads. I can leave it large or cut them in half when needed. They definitely do reduce the pain. And boy, do I like the fact that you don't smell like an old folks home. The only reason I only gave 3 stars is because they are very difficult to apply. They are very sticky which is good but also very flimsy. Yesterday I made the mistake of removing the backing entirely before applying. What a mistake. It kept folding over and sticking to itself. After five minutes, I threw it out. The next one, I only folded over half the backing, applied the patch and then continued to remove the rest of the backing. Worked much better.
